RISE, THE WITCHER, RISE
When I wrote Rise, The Witcher, Rise, it was all about the lyrics. That was a big change for me, since my process usually begins with atmosphere and melody. Writing music around lines of text felt like solving a puzzle, but it pushed me to explore new ideas and let the words guide the flow in ways I would not have found on my own.

This instrumental version strips that back. Without the very niche lyrics leading the way, the focus shifts back to the orchestration itself, the dark and grim textures, the emotive motifs, and the way themes rise and fall to carry the story. It feels like a different perspective on the same piece, one shaped by words and the other by atmosphere. My hope is that the instrumental stands on its own, letting the details of the arrangement and the emotion in the music take centre stage.
